Location description:
Canazei is a very famous tourist resort in the Trentino Fassa Valley, located in the heart of the Dolomites (a UNESCO World Heritage Site). In summer, hiking, climbing, cycling, golf, tennis and other sports can be enjoyed. In winter, Canazei is one of Italy’s leading ski resorts, with more than 120 km of ski slopes. The historic center of Canazei is very picturesque, with its houses built of wood and stone and its typical mountain “little stores” and public establishments located in the streets of the center and often carved out of typical Tabià. Also in the historic center is St. Florian’s Church, a 15th-century building.
